How does it work?

A ‘taster’ of our meeting days

Professionals facilitate the Wealth Enhancement Forum’s monthly meetings, which are structured into complementary and stimulating sessions.

Highly experienced guest speakers frequent the forum to share their advice and experiences. Informative lectures on subject matters including tax strategies, inter-generational wealth, economic trends and alternative investments are followed by Q&A sessions.

Members present suggestions such as funding for a property, a new business idea, or a venture capital project to their peers – who get together on acquisitions or investments.

In the next segment members present their investment issues and receive feedback and recommendations from the group. They agree an improved way forward, updating the outcomes to the forum at a future meeting.

The day is rounded off with a ‘social’ session, which enhances the enjoyment and fulfilment of members’ lives with activities encompassing clay pigeon shooting, off-road driving, wine tasting and art and antiques classes.

To provide the Forum with a broad range of interesting investment opportunities, WEF has now signed up for membership of the following private equity clubs:

Acceleris, Beer & Partners and YABA (Yorkshire Association of Business Angels). They have been chosen from introductions by members or from trusted professionals whom we use. Each of them will be asked to present to the Forum over the coming months, along with a prospective target company in attendance.
